The man who gave birth to three children

Thomas Beatie was born in 1974 in Hawaii. In 2002, after his gender reassignment surgery, he was commonly known to the world as “The Pregnant Man”. Thomas was also a finalist in the Miss Teen Hawaii USA. In 1997, he completed his MBA as well.

On the later days, Thomas married Nancy. It was during their marriage life, that Thomas had to undergo the gender reassignment surgery to give birth to their child, as their wife Nancy was infertile.

In 2002, Thomas Beatie underwent the sex reconstruction and gave birth to his first child in 2007.

Thomas gave birth to two girls, and in 2010, he gave birth to his third child, a boy.
Despite the hard efforts of Thomas, the couple filed a divorce in 2012. Thomas claims that he had to take it up to divorce after seeing his wife Nancy mistreating the children. Thomas underwent a complete transition surgery in 2012.

Thomas is currently a public speaker, author, and an advocate in transgender and sexuality issues and a current focus on fertility and reproductive rights.
